Pomegranate Janet

While trying to think of a title for this post, I thought: Wouldn’t it be great if my name were Janet? Then I could call it, “Pomegranate Janet” and it would make more sense. “Pomegranate Kate” just doesn’t have the same oomph. I suppose I could talk about a fruit that rhymes with Kate instead of about pomegranates, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head, and besides, I really want to talk about pomegranates. Easter only 2 days away! :-)

Hi, bloglings, Sir Buffalo Sushi here. “Only 2 days ’till Easter!”, all the buzz is mostly about. Peter Rabbit, Chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs, chicks, rabbits, ham, all that good stuff. Well I’m going to compare a traditional Easter day with the Easter day at Chez Polka Dot suitcase. Morning: Traditional: sleep in, slowly get up and have a nice hearty breakfast, walk around and collect eggs. Ours: Try to wake up at 5:00 am, run frantically around the house grabbing all the eggs you see; after collecting eggs, eat a breakfast of cereal and juice. 9:00 am- 4:00 pm: Traditional: Church, nice family picnic, stroll in the park, go to annual Easter Parade.
