Like practically the rest of the entire country, we’ve been freezing here at Chez Polka Dot all week. I have to admit…I have not been happy. Had I wanted to freeze in January, I would have stayed in New York instead of moving south of the Mason Dixon fifteen years ago. But, you can’t do anything about Mother Nature, right? So the kiddos and I turned to indoor pursuits to entertain ourselves.
I’d been wanting to have them play around with the Claymation Studio software I’d gotten last year (pictured). I envisioned all kinds of learning opps with it — maybe we could claymate (wait…that sounds funky) the epic battles of the Civil War. Or maybe we’d claymatize (a little better) the first Thanksgiving.
Instead, here’s what we got. My first attempt to learn the software:

Sir Buffalo Sushi is still tweaking his masterpiece, but hopefully he’ll unveil it soon. If you’re wondering if it’s a reenactment of the Battle at Gettysburg…well, no. It’s not. But check back to see it yourself.
