Okay, I CAN lift my finger off the table (you know, the one I am not supposed to be able to lift) … what does that make me? I admit, I can only lift it a bit, but I can lift it!

Long time since you posted this, but here’s one we used to do at camp when I was a youngin’.

    1) Close your fingers of one of your hands around the index finger of your other hand.
    2) Squeeze as hard as you can, and keep squeezing as hard as you can for at least 20-30 seconds. Keep reminding yourself to squeeze hard, otherwise you might start loosening up. Don’t worry – it shouldn’t hurt your index finger at all.
    3) Relax your tight grip, but leave your fingers closed around your index finger.
    4) Carefully pull your index finger out without opening up your fingers.
    5) Press down 4-5 times on the pulse point of your hand that’s in a fist, with the thumb of your other hand.
    6) Very, very slowly, open up the fingers from you clenched fist. The slower you do it, the weirder it feels, as if they’re fused at the knuckles.

It’s not as cool as the floating arms, but it’s still a weird one. :-)

have one person hold two pencils, one in each hand, in an X formation and have someone else pretend to tie a string around it for about 30-40 seconds and when the tier person stops the person holding the pencils very slowly and it feel like its tied together.
