Veterans Day
Hello Blogglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. Even though it’s not Friday, I’m writing because it’s Veterans Day. Veterans day is when, in 1918 on 11:00 of the 11th on the 11th month, the Germans and We and our allies of World War 1 both signed a Armistice. (Shortly said, a Armistice is a document declaring peace.) So, not surprisingly, Woodrow Wilson, our president at the time, called Nov. 11th “Armistice Day”. But, in 1953, Al King, … Read entire article »

Florida’s punishments; so easy
Hi Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi, here. I took a long time off from blogging. Sorry guys. But, now that I’m back, and scouting out the best stories, I’ve got a good one today. The #1 NCAA Florida Gator’s Brandon Spikes got his helmet knocked off last week against Georgia. After Spikes’ helmet came off, he was still on his feet, and still had the ball. A Georgia player hit him again, without a helmet. Spikes was shaken up, but OK. A totally clean hit. But, Spikes got mad because he thought the Georgia player tried to hurt him on purpose. So, later in the game the same player that hit Spikes earlier had the ball. He got tackled. Well, Spikes is still holding a grudge. He walks up to the Georgia player, and … Read entire article »

Football talk
Hello, Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi, here. It’s been a while since I’ve written. Well, as you may know, Michael Vick is now with the Eagles. All I have to say, “I was an co-Eagles fan, until Michael Vick joined.” Not only has he gotten back in the NFL, which is a disgrace, but he’s coming back on the 3rd week instead of the 6th. I dislike Michael Vick, but this deal’s just getting sweeter, and sweeter for him. And he’s being helped by Tony Dungy, who’s cool. So, will Michael Vick pull a Darth Vader on us all, and turn good at the end? Not probable, but there’s no guarantees in life. Till next time, Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi signing off. (Sorry if I spoiled the end of Star Wars for you.) … Read entire article »

Top four books with Sir Buffalo Sushi
Hello, Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. I’ve been reading a lot lately, and have some favorites. *= 1 star, **= 2 star, ***=3 star, etc., etc. The Invention of Hugo Cabret This is my favorite book of all time. It’s around 500 pages, but 280 something are pictures. I think all ages would love this. I rate it: ***** Diary of a Wimpy kid Coming in second on my list is Diary of a Wimpy kid. I read this in about three and a half hours, but I’m a fast reader. It’s like reading the the funnies. Or watching Homer Simpson eat two dozen pink doughnuts in five seconds… It’s so innocent, but extremely funny. I rate this: ***** Among the hidden This is the kick off book of a great series of seven. Great readings! The … Read entire article »

Microwave Mayhem
Hello, Bloglings. Sir Buffalo Sushi here. So, Big Fish is still recovering from surgery, and he relies on a microwaveable heat pack to relieve the pain. But, the other day, the worst thing that could possibly happen to a person on the face of the Earth… happened. Our microwave broke. No more hot dogs, no more reheats, no more hot water for Quakers oat meal, and most importantly no more of Big Fish’s heat pack. So, we … Read entire article »

Cow Puppets
Hello, Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. Today I had nothing to post about. But, I was bored and I found a box of “Make your own puppets” downstairs. So I made some puppets. You’re suppose to make a cow, flamingo, and mouse, but I made two cows. The white one is complete, but the gray one has no ears because I ran out of material: All you need is a sock, glue, felt, and scissors. Till next time, Sir … Read entire article »

Dusty’s Birth Day
Hello, bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. My dog, Dusty, turned 7 yesterday. This is really the first year that we celebrated it. Mom bought her “Frosty Paws” which is a ice cream for dogs. And my dog’s not the best eater to begin with, she never chews, and she finishes her daily bowl of dog food in approximately 10 seconds minimum. But, the Frosty Paws come in small little cups, so as soon as Dusty gets a hold of it, she tries to swallow the ice cream and the cup whole. Mom had to pry it out of her jaws so she wouldn’t choke. I also got Dusty a plush toy dog with a squeaker in side it, so if you bite down on it it squeaks. And I got her some … Read entire article »

Healthy Ways to EAT
Hello, bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. It does seem like all of my posts are about food, oh well. Ever since the 4th of July, we’ve been eating well… Not really a diet, but a attempt for better health. It’s pretty easy. Except we can only have soda twice this week, once next week, and once the week after that plus it has to be sugar free. And we go out to DQ only once a month to get the blizzard of the month. But there’s a good side, too. Like last night, I REALLY wanted a hot dog, but I resisted and had strawberries, cottage cheese, cantaloupe, and granny smith apple. Here’s more good meals: (that are even Sir Buffalo Sushi approved) Peanut butter sandwich with banana in it Salad with ranch and sunflower … Read entire article »

Fourth of July
Hello, bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here. Tomorrow’s Independence Day. And we plan to camp out in our backyard, do some fireworks, and grilling. My Mom has awesome cooking powers, and she’s planning a huge meal: watermelon lemonade, hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, Jell-O, home made BBQ, sliders (mini hamburgers), her famous home made mac’ ‘n’ cheese, and corn on the cob. We have a bunch of fireworks, too. Legal of course. I usually light the firework, before diving out of the way. Till next time, bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi, signing off. … Read entire article »
