Florida’s punishments; so easy
Hi Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi, here.
I took a long time off from blogging. Sorry guys. But, now that I’m back, and scouting out the best stories, I’ve got a good one today.
The #1 NCAA Florida Gator’s Brandon Spikes got his helmet knocked off last week against Georgia. After Spikes’ helmet came off, he was still on his feet, and still had the ball. A Georgia player hit him again, without a helmet. Spikes was shaken up, but OK. A totally clean hit. But, Spikes got mad because he thought the Georgia player tried to hurt him on purpose.
So, later in the game the same player that hit Spikes earlier had the ball. He got tackled. Well, Spikes is still holding a grudge. He walks up to the Georgia player, and starts trying to gouge the Georgia dudes’ eyes out. What? Spikes put his hand in the Georgia players helmet and tries to take his eyes out? You just don’t do that! And what’s even stupider is that Spikes got suspended for half a game, when he should have been kicked out of the league! His suspension got extended for a whole game, later, but still.
The thing is, the coach thinks Spikes is a good player, which he is. But since the coach thinks that, he doesn’t want Spikes gone to long! He doesn’t even care about Spikes’ evil deed! This just goes to show the league should handle punishments, not coaches.
Till next time, Bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi signing off.
