Uh…did anyone else notice it’s Thursday already? I think the week got away from me and I’ve neglected PDS. Ever feel like you’re kind of going along, putting out fires and taking care of this and attending that and trying to hold down the fort and carrying a roll-over “to do” list for days on end and then you happen to look up and you see this coming at you:

Well, that’s pretty much the way I’ve been feeling for a couple weeks. Like…DUCK! Life’s coming at you fast!

I’ve been a naughty blogger, I know. Skipping days and random posts. Big Fish is home recouperating for weeks, so my carefully-planned and overly optimistic schedule has been shredded, shattered, and pretty much annihilated. I’ll try to be better.

But cool owl, right? That was taken a couple days ago at a little state park we’ve never been to before. What a little gem of a park that was! A wonderful little nature center with fantastic (free!) programs, great interactive displays, and some appealing-looking trails we didn’t get a chance to take. Just like the stuff on my to-do list that I haven’t had the chance to do, though, it’ll get done. We’ll go back to that little park some day and take those trails. And that stuff on my schedule…well, no time like the present. Guess I’ll get at it. You’re in luck, though. Sir Buffalo Sushi never misses his Friday post, and I’m hoping he’ll share this killer recipe he just developed this week. Took him some trials and errors, but I think he nailed it today. You’re in for a treat!
