Dusty’s Birth Day

Hello, bloglings! Sir Buffalo Sushi here.

My dog, Dusty, turned 7 yesterday. This is really the first year that we celebrated it. Mom bought her “Frosty Paws” which is a ice cream for dogs. And my dog’s not the best eater to begin with, she never chews, and she finishes her daily bowl of dog food in approximately 10 seconds minimum. But, the Frosty Paws come in small little cups, so as soon as Dusty gets a hold of it, she tries to swallow the ice cream and the cup whole. Mom had to pry it out of her jaws so she wouldn’t choke.

I also got Dusty a plush toy dog with a squeaker in side it, so if you bite down on it it squeaks. And I got her some treats shaped like people. Some were shaped like butchers, others like fire fighters and mailmen.  And the last thing I did was write a song:

“Dusty, you’re number one.
We feed you.
We pet you.
And we hope you have fun.
On your walks, and just lying in bed, you’re always in style and always ahead.
And though you’re not too sharp in the head, and shed lots of fur,
We don’t care.
We love you and you love us,
and that something we share.
So I say,
HAPPY BIRTH DAY!
Only you and God know your official birth date,
But for us,
July 16 is as good as you may.
And we shall celebrate on this day.
Dusty, you never do any thing wrong,
And you point us in the right way.
So, Dusty,
HAPPY BIRTH DAY!!!!!”

So, that’s pretty much it.

Sir Buffalo Sushi signing out.

PS: The song is best song in a “Star Spangled Banner” tone.
