I have some advice too. A couple of summers when I was in high school I worked at a large theme park in New Jersey. I was on “grounds” which means that I swept the ground. It didn’t pay very well and was not a good way to get rich, but I often walked under the tracks of the roller coasters that go upside down and collected the money that fell out of people’s pockets.

Since you don’t want to get a job you can’t do it exactly the way I did, but you can probably try to convince your parents to take you to a large theme park a couple times during your childhood. Then, while the rest of your family goes on all the rides, just stand under the track of the upside-down roller coaster and wait for the big payoff.

Hi Sir,

There is someone in my house that I think you’d get along with (he also collects wheat pennies). Here is what I recommend you do: take over the laundry. There are always coins left in the bottom of the washing machine, and the dryer? Even better! Those dollar bills (and sometimes TEN dollar bills) just float out of the pockets, ready to fund your dreams.

Here’s my trick to becoming rich: after an event, say a parade or a fair or a concert, I’ll take a walk as soon as it ends, keeping my eyes on the ground. People always lose money at these things because they’re too busy having fun to notice when they drop their cash!
