Totally tickled to announce my new book is out!

Energy: 25 Projects Investigate Why We Need Power and How We Get It just showed up on my doorstep late last week. (My next book is Titles: How to Make Them As Long As Possible and Why We Do It, coming soon.) It looks pretty slick — the illustrator did a fun job with the pictures and the layout team really did a super job.

If you’ve got a kid (or know of any) who would really be “turned on” (har har, energy joke) by finding out about renewable energy sources, or “shocked” (har har, stop it!) to find out how limited our supply of non-renewable sources are, please check it out (and let me know what you think). Since reading about this stuff is fun, but DOING something with the info is even better, the book is full of projects to explore energy (actually, more than 25, but it took too much energy to count them all).
